The committees for the South Texas Pool and the West Texas/Oklahoma/Kansas Pool are comprised of elected representatives from each PCCA District. Members of the committees must be active pool members. Committee members are elected yearly and represent his/her district.
The committee meets four times per year to be updated by PCCA marketing staff on current market conditions including economic data, crop and price forecasts, production scenarios and competitive issues. Members provide guidance to the sales staff regarding crop conditions, bale volume expectations and grower marketing preferences.
